"Customer service was just okay"
They did get back to my email, but it took a couple of days. Nobody was rude or anything, but the response wasn’t especially helpful either. the delay felt preventable and made the whole experience a bit frustrating.

"Colors were actually close"
I ordered a few skeins and the colors were actually almost exactly like the photos. One of them was a little darker in person, but it wasn’t a big deal for what I’m making. Shipping was fine too. I’d buy again, just maybe look over the photos a couple times if you need an exact match.

"Order was mostly right"
My order was pretty much correct, and the receipt/email confirmation matched what I ordered, but one skein came in the wrong color. Not a huge deal, but I did have to double-check everything when it arrived

I ordered from simplysockyarn.com, i’m a little biased toward shops that keep me updated without making me chase anything down. They sent the order confirmation right away, then the shipping info not long after, and the emails were clear and simple. My yarn showed up when I expected it to, with no confusion or weird delays. I’d definitely order from them again.

"Pretty easy to navigate"

The yarns were really nice, not gonna lie, but a bunch of the colors I wanted were out of stock. Kinda a bummer because I had specific shades in mind

"Finally, an Order That Didn’t Turn Into a Whole Thing"
I ordered some sock yarn from Simply Sock Yarn and, it was nice to have something just go smoothly for once. It showed up fast, was packed properly, and there were no weird surprises or hassles, which feels rare lately. The colors were really close to what I saw in the photos, and the yarn feels soft and nice to work with. Checkout was easy too, thankfully. I’d definitely order again when I need more yarn

"Good yarn selection, just wish there were a few more"
i mean, there are a lot of yarns to choose from, and I’m happy with the selection overall. I just wish they had a few more options.

"Packaging could’ve been a lot better"
My yarn showed up in this really thin mailer, one side was already ripped open when it got to me. It didn’t feel like anything was protected at all, which was disappointing. For what I paid, I expected better packaging.

One of the skeins was missing from my yarn order, which was kind of frustrating at first because I was ready to start the project and... yeah. I emailed customer service and they replied quickly, then sent the missing one out without making it a big thing. So it wasn’t a perfect experience, but they handled it fine.

"Shipping felt a little steep"
I was about to grab a few skeins from simplysockyarn.com because the selection looked really nice, but then I got to the shipping and kind of paused. At first I thought, okay, maybe it’s not that bad, but no, for the small amount I was ordering it felt like too much.

I’m sure it makes more sense if you’re placing a bigger order, and I almost talked myself into it anyway, but I ended up backing out. The yarn looked great, I just couldn’t justify the extra cost for only a few skeins.

"Nice sock yarn at really fair prices"
I’ve ordered from Simply Sock Yarn a few times now and I’ve been happy with it. The prices are better than a lot of other yarn shops I’ve looked at, and their sales make it easier to pick up nicer yarn without feeling like I’m overspending. Shipping was standard and everything arrived packed well. Overall, it’s been a good value and I’ll probably keep checking there first
